Does This Sound Familiar?
TPR hearing for Smiley tomorrow is cancelled again.
One of the attorneys apparantly had a scheduling conflict. Hearing is supposedly re-scheduled for Monday.
I just don't know what to believe anymore.

I am so sorry. Delays in the court system are ridiculous and they never ask the foster parents if it works for them. We were never notified of one change in court and court was an hour away.

When we were going through the adoption process with my baby brother (foster to adopt, abuse, neglect, yada yada yada) it began to seem that TPR would never happen. It always seemed that the child and the foster family were the last two people on the priority consideration list. Nice.
Hope it happens sooner rather than later, but that it just HAPPENS.

I'm so sorry that they delayed this yet again. I really don't understand how the court system can be such a freakin mess! Just a bunch of insensitive, lazy, dip sticks...is what I think!
I hope that they get everything done and over with next Monday. You'll be in my prayers.
