Special Delivery

We went to court today for Smiley, we came home with a 5 month old baby girl. For now, she's only foster, but it's already her second time in care and mom is pg again, so we'll see what happens.

Ok, time to give her an internet name, so leave suggestions in my comments. She has big blue eyes, big head, bald, small nose and chubby.

Oh yeah, court decision, Smiley stays in care. We were at court all day and nothing was accomplished as usual.

What does stay in care mean? Does that mean you guys could loose him to his bioparents?

Why can't they just wrap it up already. They are just Dumb!!! Wait, I will go smack someone for you just tell me who?

Congrats on the new baby!! How about blue eyes.

stay in care means Smiley will remain in foster care, which is a good thing.

HEY - now THERE'S some drama! While I am truly sorry there was no progress in Smiley's case, at least he's still with you. So, a baby girl, huh?? Just in time for Easter dresses!!! YAY!!

  • At 8:51 AM, Blogger Tamara said…

Hey - does this mean that when Biomom delivers, you could have BOTH babies???

But WHEN can you tpr and get to call Smiley your own??? I'm there with Felicia.... let's organize a gang to smack whoever necessary to get this thing finalized!

I like Blue Eyes. I like Sweet Pea too, but we call my cat that at times!!!!

Oh, and how exactly did you just go to court and come home with another baby? Details!!!!

    How about "Angel" ?!

Perhaps Princess sent her to you! :)

Are you home with her today?
    Is she healthy?
    What size is she in?
    Do you need clothes?

  • At 9:59 AM, Blogger Dream Mommy said…

    not home with her
she's healthy other than some reflux.
6-9 mos size, but not for long.
clothing allowance purchased 6-9 mo clothes, but will need the next size soon.

If she doesn't go home and bio mom doesn't work her plan and no relatives come forward, it's a possiblity I could get both babies. I must keep reminding myself she's only foster for now.
