Little Brother

Bubbles' little brother came into care today. We were not called to take him, although we are willing and able to. It was a personal thing. Her attorney advised us to worry about keeping her with us for now and she thinks she can keep them from taking her, after all, we are willing to take both.

In a way, I'm disappointed, but at least I know he's safe now. I'll keep you posted when I hear more after the hearing in a couple days.

    In a way this is heartbreaking but at the same time it is likely best for the boy.

    Man on man o man!!! I sure wish you could have gotten him- but SOOOO happy he is safe too! What a gift. God is watching out- that is for sure- I guess they figure too many little ones- ?? I hope this does not put Bubbles in jeopardy of leaving- I am praying!!!

    I'm so happy that the little brother finially came into care. I just wish that you had gotten the call so that they could be together. I'll be praying for things to work out and that Bubbles will get to stay with her family. Hopefully her brother will come to you in time also.

    I am glad he is finaly safe and now you do not have to worry about them coming in and out of your daycare. Praying bubbles stays with you.

    That's interesting. I'm so glad he is safe though!! I wonder why they didn't think to call you? Did you ask them why? Wow, well I am curious to hear the details. Hang in there, this can only be good for Bubbles case.

    Perhaps there was more being noticed than you thought when it seemed like things were slipping by; the baby food, the iguana, the kitty. Finally a little man removed before something bad can happen.

    I am so glad that it seems a bit more likely that Bubbles will not have to go for unsupervised visits. That's the last thing she needs.

    The both have our thoughts and prayers.
