Nothing

No news on little Prince. It's likely that he's too needy for us, but I still would have liked to visit. I think he had been promised to another family before even asking us, although they said we could have him first if we wanted(yeah, right). Then I find out they called the family that adopted Princess' sister to take him.

WHAT ABOUT US? Don't you love how their so quick to forget the family that cared for and buried his sister? I suppose I could call his mom...

I'm just tired of not even being considered when babies come into care.

    That just breaks my heart in too.

    The love you can provide for him just radiates. I will pray that it works in your favor. He needs you.

    I can't believe that things are happing like this. I know that you all have loved him even before he was born. I'm so sorry.

    I know this is devastating for you but maybe, just maybe, they wanted siblings to be together. Not much consolation but it could be a reason. So sorry, I know you loved and wanted him.

    L, I wanted to ask you...how many kids and what ages r u certified for? We ONLY asked to foster/adopt 1 child but could comfortably keep up to 3 kids (ages newborn to 4 ONLY). My youngest is 5 and we don't want to change the birth order. Anyway, sorry about the little Prince. I am SHOCKED that the bio mom did not even request you. I'm still holding out hope for your healthy newborn GIRL!!!!
    :::pink vibes::: to you :)

    Do you have the option of changing agencies? I am so sad for you guys to have to go through this. I'm sure you do already have your hands full as it is though. There is a baby girl out there that will come to you. All my fingers and toes are crossed.

    We don't work with agencies. The sibling's family cannot take him, but they have another family who will, but they were supposed to let us take him if we want him. Maybe he's got a long hospital stay ahead and they're not too worried about him now. I'm not sure I can handle him medically, but I want to visit him, talk to the drs., and decide for myself. Plus, I don't want him stuck in a medical home if he doesn't have to be.

    OMG - I've been on vacation and just caught up on the story with you. And it took me a second to realize that by Little Prince you meant the baby Princess' mom had. So once again, a baby near death when born?? Amazing. I thought she was incarcerated? When did she get released (or was she even in jail at all)? L, I want to scream about this. It is devastating. Are the baby's problems even worse than Princess' were? Oh, L. I'm so sorry about this. I am just so, so sorry.
