Goodbye Basil
We had to put Basil, our Great Dane to sleep today. He's been suffering, did x-rays at his annual vet visit and he appeared to have bone cancer. He'd been looking pitiful lately. He's been with us almost 6 years, right after we moved in our house.

Oh Im so sorry! My thoughts are with you! So hard! We lost a pet to cancer once.. so hard to see them get weaker..

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of this treasured family member.
I am not a dog-person per se, but I have always had a soft spot for Great Danes for some reason.

Awww, I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost 4 furries in the same way, in January. A bug old CyberHug for you!!

Soo sorry...I had to put my lab/collie mix down in September... I cried for days, and still do when I really think about "Sam". I loved him so much... Hugs to you...Wendy

I am so sorry, I had to put our standard poodle down a few months ago, he was 13 and it was so upsetting for me. They become so much a part of the family xx
